His name literally means “Secret Assembly”\, which refers to the practice of gathering and manipulating psychic winds in the body to accomplish awakening of the mind. \nGuhyasamaja is described as the supreme King of all Tantras as comprehension of his tantra allows us to understand the inner workings of all other tantric systems. It is also said that the survival of the tantras in general depends on the continued proliferation and practice of Guhyasamaja’s tantric system. \n
