SUMMARY:Tsem Rinpoche’s Parinirvana Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:September 4th\, 2020 marks the first parinirvana anniversary of His Eminence the 25th Tsem Rinpoche. To commemorate this solemn occasion and to honour Rinpoche’s extraordinary life and enlightened deeds\, a special all-day prayer service will be held in Kechara Forest Retreat in accordance with the traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. \n  \nEvent Details\n\nFriday\, 4 September 2020\n10.00 am – 10.30 pm\n\n  \nPROGRAMME\n\n10.00 am Rabney consecration puja\n12.30 pm Lunch\n3.00 pm 1000-Offering Lama Chopa Tsog\n6.30 pm Dinner\n8.00 pm Dorje Shugden Puja\n\nStarting the day is a Rabney consecration puja which marks the completion of Rinpoche’s Indoor Relic Stupa. This important milestone has great significance for Rinpoche’s swift return and the search for his unmistaken incarnation. \nIn the afternoon is the main highlight of the day – an extensive 1000-Offering Lama Chopa Tsog (Je Tongchoe). This extremely meritorious puja includes the offering of 1000 candles\, 1000 tormas\, 1000 incense\, 1000 water offerings and 1000 flowers so that disciples can accumulate oceans of merits for our Lama to return once more to continue turning the Wheel of Dharma. \nThe last puja of the day is an extensive Dorje Shugden kangso (fulfilment ritual) in dedication to Rinpoche’s swift return. This powerful puja will help remove all obstacles and create positive conditions for Rinpoche’s students and organisation to flourish\, thus creating the causes for our unparalleled Lama’s swift rebirth. \nWe welcome you to join us in honouring Rinpoche’s life and enlightened deeds on this special day\, and to have audience with Rinpoche’s Holy Relic Stupa in Tsem Ladrang.
