We’ll come to you!\nWesak is the most important day of the year for Buddhists everywhere. Why is it so significant? Because this day commemorates the three most momentous events in the life of Buddha Shakyamuni – the birth of Prince Siddhartha Gautama\, his Enlightenment in becoming Buddha Shakyamuni and the occasion of his parinirvana. It’s so sacred that the merits from any virtuous deed performed on this day are multiplied 100\,000 times. \nBecause we all need merits\, and since you may not be able to come to the temple for Wesak\, we’re bringing the temple to you! \nTune in for our #Wesak2021 celebrations\, live-streamed to you from Kechara Forest Retreat.
