Also known as White Umbrella or Sitatapatra in Sanskrit\, she is very healing and strengthens the body against physical problems. Her practice is highly effective for purifying the karma of being wrongfully accused such as in arguments or legal cases. She is also beneficial for people who travel often or who are exposed to risks and dangers daily. \n  \nWho is Sengdongma?\nSengdongma is the ferocious Lion-Faced Dakini who protects against spirit attacks\, magic and misfortune\, particularly those specifically sent against us. She can also avert natural calamities\, contagious diseases and acts of terror. \n  \nWhat is the Heart Sutra?\nThe Heart Sutra\, or the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra\, is one of the most well known of Buddhist scriptures. Although short\, it is rich in meaning and history as it contains the essential concepts of Buddhist beliefs and philosophies. People who are afflicted by spirit disturbances are sometimes advised to recite the Heart Sutra as it is also very beneficial to the spirits who come looking for help. \n

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, 11th October 2023 for an auspicious reading of the Madhyamaka Root Text and create the causes to realise emptiness and achieve ultimate wisdom. \nMadhyamaka is a philosophical system first articulated by the 2nd century Indian Buddhist master Nagarjuna\, and later by other masters such as Chandrakirti\, Shantideva\, Aryadeva and Longchenpa. \nKnown as Uma in Tibetan\, Madhyamaka thought is founded on the doctrine of emptiness or Shunyata\, that all phenomena are empty of inherent nature. \nIn the 15th century\, Lama Tsongkhapa distilled the essence of Nagarjuna’s philosophy and founded a unique lineage through which many rapidly gained special insight.
