Be Well From the Inside Out
Tibet is home to one of the world’s oldest healing traditions, based on the principles of karma and the interconnectedness of body, mind and spirit. Adherents believe that wellness cannot exist if any of these three elements are out of balance.
HEAL: Body Mind Spirit allows you to explore holistic Tibetan practices that can help eliminate negative karma and create positive energy for inner and outer wellbeing. Each month features different activities including holistic healing therapies, meaningful community work to purify the body, and basic Buddhist philosophy to develop a positive mind and spirit.

Karmic cleansing @ Gyenze chapel
Cleaning the temple helps eliminate negative karma that causes ill health and financial difficulties, and brings great benefits for the mind and spirit. It’s a great way to prepare for the new lunar year.

Meditation + Mindfulness for beginners
Discover the art of happiness with Buddhist meditation techniques to reduce stress, develop mindfulness and increase joy in daily life. Suitable for everyone including non-Buddhists.

Singing bowl sound healing therapy
Experience the enchanting sounds of traditional Tibetan singing bowls. Then immerse in their healing vibrations for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Thangka painting experience
Explore the rich history of Tibetan scroll paintings and uncover their hidden meanings. Then unleash your creative side with a guided thangka painting session.

Herbal incense for healing
Discover how traditional Tibetan incense can facilitate healing on all levels – mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. Then ignite your senses with an incense sampling session — which blend suits you best?

Candle making for beginners
Immerse yourself in the art and process of creative candle making — so you can create unique gifts for friends + offerings for the Buddhas. You can light them at our holy sites too!

Toys for rescued birds + Tibetan cooking
Show your love for the feathered friends in our aviary with hand-made toys. Then try your hand out at making traditional dishes from the Tibetan plateau — vegetarian style.

The art of crystal energy
Discover the energetic properties of crystals and how they can affect mood and wellbeing. Then learn how to cleanse and enhance crystal energy through the power of faith and mantra.
