Pet & Pawrent Guidelines for a Pawsitive Experience

Small Paws Only, Please!

  • To keep things comfy and safe for everyone, only small dogs under 10kg are allowed.
  • We kindly ask that all pets arrive in a carrier and wear a diaper at all times for hygiene purposes. Accidents do happen no matter how well-trained your pet is, and an accident during a meditation session will disturb other participants.
  • To ensure a smooth experience, we follow a one pet per owner policy, with a maximum of two owners per pet.

Creating a Calm Space for All

  • To help everyone fully enjoy the meditation experience, please ensure your pet is comfortable around both humans and other pets.
  • It’s helpful if they can follow basic commands like sit, stay and no.

Bring Your Mat & Leash Up the Vibes

  • Bring your own yoga or sitting mat (for you and your pet). Mats will not be provided.
  • Once you’re settled in, your pet is welcome to come out of the carrier, but keep them on a leash and on your mat for everyone’s comfort and safety. Otherwise they may wander off without you realising (especially since your eyes will be closed during the meditation session!)

Support the Temple

  • We request a contribution of RM80 per person / RM150 for two people (this includes a delicious vegetarian lunch for pawrents to keep those tummies happy!)

Good Food, Good Mood

  • You’re welcome to bring snacks, water and water bowls for your pet.
  • We also provide water and bowls for your convenience.
  • Outside food for humans is not allowed.

Healthy Woofs, Happy Hoomans

  • For the well-being of all furriends, we recommend that your pet is up-to-date on vaccinations and is on a regular flea and tick prevention plan.

Potty Breaks with Courtesy

  • Please guide your furkid to use the designated pet toilet areas, and remember to clean up after them.
  • Waste bins are provided to make it easy for you to dispose of any mess responsibly.

Pet-Friendly Zones

  • For hygiene reasons, only our outdoor areas are pet-friendly. We appreciate your understanding!

Stay Close, Stay Safe

  • Your pet should be leashed (unless in the designated off-leash area) and always accompanied by their human. It helps ensure everyone stays safe and happy.

Gentle Reminders from Our Pet Marshalls

  • To keep the space welcoming and clean for all, our pet marshalls may step in to ensure rules are followed.
  • If necessary, a gentle penalty may apply, with all proceeds going to support animal welfare initiatives:
    • Penalties range between RM10 – RM50
    • In rare cases, we may need to ask a pet and their owner to leave the premises

Let’s all work together to create a peaceful, furbulous environment where everyone can relax, connect, and enjoy. Thank you for your cooperation and care!

Lunch is included as part of the programme. Guests are requested to contribute towards the costs of food & programme materials. See all terms of participation.
This event is part of HEAL: Body Mind Spirit — a monthly programme based on the principles of Tibetan holistic wellness. Each month features different activities including holistic healing therapies, meaningful community work to purify the body, and basic Buddhist philosophy to develop a positive mind and spirit.
