Majlis Perbandaran Bentong (Bentong Municipal Council), with the support of Majlis Belia Daerah Bentong, Alam Flora, SW Corp and Kechara Forest Retreat, is organising a community Gotong- Royong effort on Saturday, 18 October 2025.
The objective is to clean up Jalan Chamang in Bentong, so that tourists and Bentongites can enjoy their journey to Chamang Waterfall and the various tourist attractions in the area. In addition, a cleaner environment will also help to prevent mosquitoes from breeding.
The cleaning route will start from the entrance of Kechara Forest Retreat (KFR) and we will work our way along Jalan Chamang. Participants will be divided into groups to focus on specific stretches of Jalan Chamang.
Breakfast, beverages, cleaning tools and equipment will be sponsored by kind Bentong locals who have been very supportive of the Gotong-Royong since 2015.
