These pujas will provide you and your loved ones with powerful purification, healing, wish-fulfilment, and the blessings of the Buddhas to start the year ahead on the right foot.

The Dorje Shugden Fulfillment Ritual (kangso) is performed monthly in Kechara House, complete with ritual music and traditional Tibetan melodies. Culturally unique as well as spiritually uplifting, this puja invokes the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden who creates positive conditions for wealth and abundance, protects against negative and harmful interferences, facilitates the spiritual journey and grants conducive conditions for overcoming life’s challenges.

Extensive Medicine Buddha Puja & Chabtrul Purification Ritual

Morning Session (10am – 12pm):
Also known as Menlha Dechog, this extensive ritual invokes the supreme healing energies of Medicine Buddha for physical, mental and emotional healing. It is highly recommended for everyone who is ill especially those suffering from severe or contagious diseases, those in the healing profession, and anyone seeking effective diagnosis, treatment, healing and medicine.

Afternoon Session (1.30pm – 6pm):
Chabtrul is a powerful way to purify negative karma, remove obstacles and receive blessings for the year ahead. Puja attendees will engage in washing rituals, purification using barley flour dough and peacock feathers, and will receive individual vajra blessings.

Rabney & Trusol Consecration Ritual

The Rabney puja is performed annually to consecrate new statues and recharge existing statues with the positive energies of the Three Jewels

A medium-length Rabney Tathogma ritual will be performed to consecrate and empower the newest addition to Kechara Forest Retreat – a magnificent 9-ft Dorje Shugden outdoor statue – and to recharge all other existing statues in KFR with positivity and blessings.

In accordance with tradition, a trusol ‘bathing’ ritual will also be conducted to imbue the new site with the positive energies of the Three Jewels.

 

How you can participate

Admission is free and everyone is welcome. You are encouraged to bring along any of the following items to the Rabney & Trusol puja for blessings and consecration:

  • Pendants
  • Statues*
  • Tsa tsas
  • Stupas*
  • Thangkas/prints

Alternatively you can submit your items to Kechara House, Petaling Jaya or Kechara Forest Retreat, Bentong by Thursday 24th January.

*IMPORTANT: All statues/stupas submitted for consecration must be filled with mantras or other suitable items. Empty statues/stupas will not be accepted.

 

Suggested contribution:

Any amount is welcome. We suggest the following contributions if you are submitting items for consecration.

  • 4 inches or smaller: RM10 per item
  • 4 to 10 inches: RM30 per item
  • 10 to 18-inches: RM50 per item
  • 18 inches or larger: RM100 per item
