Join us on Friday and Saturday, 9th & 10th September 2022 for an extensive two-day Kalarupa puja which will generate a powerful wave of merits for the successful search and recognition of H.E. the 26th Tsem Rinpoche!
Also known as Drugchuma which literally means “64 Offerings”, this puja includes an abundance of torma offerings (10,000 in total!) to overcome the most difficult challenges and dispel tremendous obstacles. These tormas (ritual cakes) will be offered to the Dharma Protector Kalarupa who is a wrathful emanation of Wisdom Buddha Manjushri.
The puja will be conducted by visiting Sangha from Shar Gaden, Serpom, Phelgyeling and Segyu monasteries, and led by His Eminence Kensur Rinpoche Jetsun Lobsang Phende and other high lamas and esteemed geshes.

Who is Kalarupa?
Kalarupa is the wrathful form of the Buddha of Wisdom, Manjushri, who personifies enlightenment by the conquest of anger. He is the direct spiritual protector force for all “ugliness” arising from the true inner spiritual obstacles of fear, hatred, pride and jealousy.
